Fantastic Beasts SDCC poster lacks a certain magical style

Nearly the entire cast is featured on the brand new poster for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Apart from the Second Salemers, the movie will follow Newt Scamander (the author behind one of Harry’s textbooks), as he visits New York City in 1926. Check back Saturday for EW’s rundown of the panel. Mary Lou (played by Samantha Morton) and Credence (Ezra Miller) appear on the edge of the poster, along with Percival Graves (Colin Farrell), Queenie Goldstein (Alison Sudol), Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler), and Porpentina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston).

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will herald the beginning of a new trilogy at Warner Bros. when David Yates’ prequel spinoff bows on November 18.

Academy Award victor Eddie Redmayne (“The Theory of Everything”) stars in the central role of wizarding world magizoologist Newt Scamander, under the direction of David Yates, who helmed the last four “Harry Potter” blockbusters.

The film reunites a number of people from the “Harry Potter” features, including producers David Heyman, J.K. Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram.
