Faraday Future to build assembly plant in North Las Vegas
The announcement that Faraday Future secured a factory site fanned rumors that the company is a front for Apple’s mysterious Project Titan, which is staffed in part by former Tesla executives and is widely believed to be developing an Apple-branded electric auto.

Nevada plans to offer $335 million in state tax incentives and infrastructure upgrades to an upstart Chinese investor-backed electric carmaker.
“The Governor’s Office of Economic Development and the City of North Las Vegas presented a united front with a business friendly attitude and structured deal terms to level the playing field with the competing locations”, said Frei.
Faraday’s facility will encompass 3 million square feet and 900 acres in the North Las Vegas APEX Industrial Park.
A little-known California startup with ambitions to challenge Tesla in the electric vehicle market unveiled plans Thursday for a $1 billion (roughly Rs. 6,678 crores) manufacturing plant.
Faraday is still very much in stealth mode, but the company plans to share more about its plans next month.
Sandoval says the plant will generate 4,500 direct jobs on-site and 9,000 indirect jobs in the community.
Faraday’s factory will be built in the same state as Tesla’s Gigafactory, which is located in Reno, Bloomberg noted. On Wednesday, tech billionaire Jia Yueting, who has been called the Chinese Elon Musk, confirmed for the first time he is a founder of the company.
Faraday would also get up to $38 million in transferrable tax credits over six years if they meet their goal of hiring 4,500 people.

Hill said the road improvement project would take priority and could push other projects in the state back in the Nevada Department of Transportation’s queue. It is also estimated to create thousands of construction job opportunities. Like Tesla, Faraday will need to show that at least half of its workers are from Nevada.
