Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Akhtar separate after 16 years of marriage
Bollywood has witnessed many break ups and separations of couples over the years. According to the rumour mill, he is looking for new accommodation. “We sincerely request that we are given the privacy that is required at this time to move forward in a dignified manner”, the duo made a statement through their publicist.

Adhuna was noticeably missing from the celebratory events following the success of Farhan’s latest film Wazir, and also from Dabboo Ratnani’s calendar launch where nearly all of Bollywood was present. And now, Farhan-Adhuna have followed suit it seems.
After receiving vast appreciation for her unusual hair-dos for “Dil Chahta Hai” cast – Aamir, Saif Ali Khan, Preity Zinta and Akshay Khanna, she went on to work in Farhan’s second movie “Lakshay”.
Now this one came as a complete shock to us. Adhuna was never a regular star wife but a professional with a successful and growing business of her own.

With a troubled start for two of Bollywood couples in 2016, lets just hope the rest of the year brings some reason to celebrate. They have two children named Shakya and Akira. The couple have chose to call it quits and have mutually separated. Apparently, he is looking for an apartment now. This news is surely one such.
