Farrell kicks England to clean sweep of Wallabies
In the absence of James Haskell, England were not making much headway at the breakdown against a more urgent home pack and Jones again chose not to wait until half-time to fix the problem.

Reynolds admits the Wallabies do have a history of winning games they should not win.
“And we can’t afford to get weak because while we want to be the number one team in the world, we are still miles away from the All Blacks. There’s over 11 players from that World Cup squad that are different in this 30-odd”.
The discipline of the Wallabies has also come into question, with England fly-half Owen Farrell having kicked 45 of his 66 points in the series from penalties.
“Without a doubt he (Eddie Jones) outcoached Cheika”, Reynolds said.
Despite New Zealand’s dominance, it’s not all good news for the southern hemisphere.
He added that the Wallabies are “not set up to play kick and chase footy, we play running rugby”, and Jones was characteristically pragmatic in his response.
Careless play from Australia then gave England the opportunity to strike again, George touching down after a pass had hit his leg and popped up kindly. “It’s a significant achievement, but then only a small step for us”.
It has been a dramatic reversal of fortunes for Cheika’s men after the Wallabies reached the final of last year’s World Cup against New Zealand in London and went into the current series ranked second in the world.
Australia head coach Micheal Cheika has accused England of “dull” tactics but Jones says his team do what they need to win.
That could change if Giteau, a 102-test veteran, and the other Europe-based players come back in reasonable shape. Outside praise is unsafe for a team and they’ve been getting a lot of it. We’ve just got to be careful.
“They haven’t lost a game since he has been in charge so you can’t really say anything can you?”
After their defensive heroics in the 23-7 second Test win last weekend the tourists were keen to show more of their attacking game in Sydney, and they duly delivered as what could have been a flat dead rubber turned in an epic encounter as both sides looked to move the ball at will. “We’ve let them down”. “They’ve got good coaching staff, they’ll be well prepared for the game, and we’re expecting a titanic struggle”, Jones said.
The Australians were more creative in attack with Matt Toomua and Bernard Foley providing the main spark, but the Six Nations champions proved too consistent for the Wallabies.

“Australia has put together a good side this week and they’d be hurting a lot, we know that”.
England are now unbeaten in nine internationals since Jones became their first foreign coach in the wake of their humiliating early exit to the Wallabies in the pool stages of their own World Cup past year.

Cheika blooded five players in the England series, including Western Force lock Adam Coleman, who played the entire second half after Rob Simmons was forced off with a high grade AC joint injury.
