Seddique Mateen’s father Omar Mateen, appears on images in the rally Monday night in Kissimmee, located 23 miles of Orlando.
Not surprisingly, the Clinton campaign quickly downplayed Mateen’s presence, and told The New York Times in an email statement that the rally was “a 3,000-person, open-door event” that anyone could attend.
“Hillary Clinton is good for United States versus Donald Trump”, said Matteen, who claimed he had been invited to the rally.
Clinton’s opponent, Republican nominee Donald Trump, blamed the June 12 massacre on America’s “immigration system” which he claims is too lax, ignoring that the shooter, Omar Mateen, was born in NY and was an American citizen. He was killed by law enforcement officers following a three-hour standoff.
Hillary Clinton has disavowed the support of Seddique Mateen, father of Orlando gunman Omar Mateen, a full day after he was spotted at a Clinton campaign event in Florida.
During her speech, Clinton expressed support for the survivors of the attack and the loved ones of those killed. He wanted to do an interview and show us a sign he made for Clinton. Mateen told the reporter that he wants the U.S.to be a safer place.
Mateen told WPTV that he is a member of the Democratic Party and that he received a general invitation to the event sent out to all party members in the area.
“I know how many people, families, loved ones, and friends are still grieving, and we will be with you as you rebuild your lives”, Clinton said. Let us know in the comment section below.
When asked about the rally’s proximity to Orlando, he replied, “I wish that my son joined the army and fought ISIS and destroyed ISIS”. He also complained that Muslims in the USA are not reporting “mad men” to the police or Federal Bureau of Investigation.
But on Tuesday, the story became not so much about what Clinton said than the presence of a man in a red hat sitting in the crowd behind her.

The Clinton campaign did not respond to a request from the New York Post asking whether it accepted Mateen’s endorsement.
