Father of Orlando Shooter Supports Hillary, Appears at Clinton Rally

Seddique Mateen, Omar Mateen’s father, was spotted on August 8 standing right behind Clinton in a crowd at a campaign rally in Kissimmee, Florida by local channel WPTV.

In not so typical Trump fashion, Donald Trump hasn’t touched the story about the father of the Orlando Pulse nightclub shooter showing up at Hillary Clinton’s rally in Kissimmee.

The Hillary Clinton campaign disavowed support from the father of ISIS-inspired Orlando nightclub gunman Omar Mateen late Tuesday.

Seddique Mateen was front and center at the event, and the Clinton campaign was reportedly unaware who he was at the time.

Early in her remarks on Monday, Mrs Clinton touched on the Orlando shooting, during which Mr Mateen’s son, Omar Mateen, killed 49 people at Pulse, a gay nightclub.

“And I wish my son joined the Army and fought ISIS and destroyed ISIS”.

The article affirmatively asserted that Mateen’s presence was due to the fact that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) in Florida had invited him to attend the event but did not document that such an invitation had been extended to him. “I love the United States, and I’ve been living here a long time”, he said. He was killed by law enforcement officers following a three-hour standoff.

“Should your campaign have known that Omar Mateen’s father was at your rally yesterday?” the reporter questioned the Democrat’s presidential nominee.

You know, for once we don’t doubt that Clinton’s campaign is telling the truth … but imagine for a moment that a character like this showed up at a Donald Trump rally? In an ironic twist, Clinton began her remarks by expressing sympathy for the survivors and families of the victims of the Pulse shooting, and praising the first responders who helped victims.

Mateen said he found out about the event through an alert that apparently goes to anyone registered with the Democratic Party. “I want you to know that we will be with you”.

Omar Mateen also supported Hillary, according to a recent Washington Post article by the man who’d reported him to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

“That would be much better”, he told WPTV.

Mateen had also traveled to Washington to promote his view that Pakistan was “the capital of terrorism” and that Afghans needed more support, especially in border disputes.

The Clinton campaign denied it personally invited Mateen to the event.
