“Todd reached out his hand and grabbed Brittany’s stepfather and pulled him down the aisle to walk their daughter down the aisle together”, Blackburn wrote. During the wedding, Brittany’s biological father, Todd Bachman, walked up to the wedding photographer with a message.
Blackburn says in the post that Todd Bachman brought his daughter to the beginning of the aisle.
You might want to stop reading here if you get emotional easily. “She called me and said ‘Dad, something’s bothering me, ‘” Bachman told the Chronicle-Telegram in Lorain County, Ohio.
According to Ohio-based wedding photographer Delia Blackburn, Todd Bachman was in the middle of walking his daughter, Brittany, down the aisle when he stopped the ceremony.
“I told her I already had something planned”.
After the two gave their daughter away, they headed back to their seats with theirs arms around each.
He said: “He came and grabbed my hand, and said: ‘You worked as hard as I have”.
“I got weak in the knees and lost it. There is no better way to thank somebody than to assist me walking her down the aisle”, Bachman said.
