Real Madrid are also interested in the player, but have taken a step back after being informed about the amount of money they would have to spend to sign Pogba.

Paul Pogba’s father has claimed the Juventus midfielder “wants to play in a better league”.

“What we want is for him to be in the best League”.

Who is Paul Pogba?

Juventus remain unwilling to sell the player, but Manchester United have been in talks with super agent Mino Raiola over a deal and are confident that the Bianconeri won’t be able to refuse such a big offer for Pogba.

Although Manchester United are prepared to meet Juventus’ asking rate and Pogba’s wage demands, the final decision on the move will ultimately rest on the Frenchman.

The 23-year-old, who has 35 global caps for his country and is now with the France national squad at EURO 2016 in his homeland, scored 10 goals and provided a further 16 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A champions last season.
