FBI Director Can Expect A Grilling On Capitol Hill Over Clinton Investigation
Ryan says that in light of the FBI’s findings from its investigation of Clinton’s email practices while secretary of state, barring her from classified briefings “certainly constitutes appropriate sanctions”.

At least that’s what Republicans are trying to ensure, and they’re now calling for a new FBI investigation of Clinton on the question of whether she lied to Congress about her emails.
House Speaker Paul Ryan said Mr Comey’s recommendation proves Mrs Clinton is “living above the law” and questioned whether she should be briefed on classified information as a presidential candidate.
Republicans also focused questioning on Clinton’s past statements, in which she denied sending confidential information over the server and claimed that she had turned in all work-related emails to the State Department.
Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Maryland, condemned what he called attacks by GOP lawmakers on FBI Director James Comey’s integrity in the email probe of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. “You’ll have one in the next few hours”. He, however, said that Ms Clinton did not give her interview under oath. There were a small number of portion markings on I think three of the documents.
Comey’s comments could be troubling for current officials at the State Department who communicated with her over the private email system, such as Undersecretary for Management Patrick Kennedy. Chairman Jason Chaffetzof Utahasked hypothetically if Clinton would clear a background check if she applied for a job at his agency.
Former CIA Director David Petraeus intentionally shared classified information with his biographer, with whom he was having an affair, then lied to the Federal Bureau of Investigation about it.
Gowdy: “Secretary Clinton said, ‘I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email”.
Clinton brushed off this characterization today, arguing the State Department may have marked material classified that shouldn’t have been marked as such.
Republicans and conservative media have been running around screaming at the top of their lungs that other people were prosecuted in similar cases, but Clinton wasn’t.

“I just believe that the material that was being communicated by professionals, many with years of handling sensitive classified material, they did not believe that it was”, Clinton said.
