“We have no report in our record for any filings for Brad Pitt, we are not having any investigations regarding Brad Pitt”, police spokesperson Lorenzo Quezada said.

TMZ and People both reported early this morning that “Brad Pitt is under investigation for child abuse after he allegedly was “verbally abusive” and “physical” with one of his children with Angelina Jolie on the couple’s private plane while their other kids were present”.

The FBI says it is gathering information about an alleged incident involving Brad Pitt and his children aboard a private flight last week.

The FBI said it is “continuing to gather facts and will evaluate whether an investigation at the federal level will be pursued”.

According to the celebrity website TMZ, Los Angeles police began probing Pitt based on an anonymous tip received by the Department of Children and Family Services, as is systematic following any report of child abuse.

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt, citing irreconcilable differences.

Hollywood star Brad Pitt has hired the family law attorney, who represented Heather Locklear and Charlie Sheen, as he prepares for a divorce and custody battle with Angelina Jolie.

According to the DCFS source, Pitt is not allowed to have contact with the child, which is usual in such cases, while the investigation is ongoing.

Those close to Brad Pitt are telling HIS side of what allegedly went down on the day of his alleged child abuse – and they claim there was a confrontation on that plane ride.

“He takes the matter very seriously”, the source said. She said in her Instagram post alongside a photo of bird soaring through the sky that he is “the only one that I need” and they are expecting another child.
