Fear the Walking Dead spoilers: zombies will have ‘dry, parched skin

Fear The Walking Dead” premieres Sunday night at 9 PM ET/PT on AMC. Who do you think is going to die this year? In this world where you want to do right by everybody and protect your family, those are all the attributes of a person that, in the apocalypse, really don’t matter anymore.

In celebration of The Walking Dead spinoff series’ premiere, AMC will run a marathon of The Walking Dead’s fifth season.

In the plot, Travis (Cliff Curtis), an English teacher has recently divorced with his wife Liza (Elizabeth Rodriguez) and has found new romance with Madison Clark (Kim Dickens), a guidance counselor who has two kids – outstanding student Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) and heroin addict Nick (Frank Dillane). Set in Los Angeles during the period when Rick Grimes is stuck in a coma on The Walking Dead, Fear will give us insights into how humanity began to lose its footing.

Indeed, the Los Angeles-set “FTWD” doesn’t share any characters with its older sibling. All told, the clip is a clear echo of The Walking Dead’s first scene, in which Rick encountered a zombified little girl. For now, showrunner Dave Erickson is putting out the non-“copycatting” word through Entertainment Weekly, but he hopes to insulate himself from comparisons. Basically, Fear is The Walking Dead’s companion series. Yeah. Well, not necessarily through the first season, but, I mean, Nick, his father died when he was 13.

This is it, the countdown to the series premiere of Fear the Walking Dead is winding down, and here we are with our final update regarding what we know about the show so far. For quite some time, the show’s producers have insisted the show will be different from The Walking Dead. However, only those who have accounts with certain cable providers can watch Season 1, Episode 1 online for free. “When they meet a zombie in the pilot, their first impulse is to help him”. I know things are going to slightly slow down after but if they can keep it this good, we might just have another victor on our hands! Though we do highly recommend you check out the original series.

The only thing “Fear The Walking Dead” and “The Walking Dead” have in common is a world filled with zombies and a zombie-creating virus that coerces everyone to abide by the same rules, Forbes pointed out. I think at a certain point, we will go full apocalypse and I’ll deal with that when I get there.
