“Maddox stepped in to defend Angie and got in Brad’s face”, a source said.

The conflicting accounts of what occurred on the couple’s private jet appear likely to put an end to the investigation.

Yesterday we reported that the LAPD had been contacted and the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services had launched an investigation after getting an anonymous call that World War Z actor had reportedly attacked his eldest son on the flight, but that because the incident had happened mid flight that the FBI were now involved, instead of the police.

Mumbai: Angelina Jolie has reportedly blocked Brad Pitt from visiting their kids, after she filed for divorce from him a few days back.

An FBI spokesperson said the bureau is “continuing to gather facts and will evaluate whether an investigation at the federal level will be pursued”.

CNN reports that Pitt is cooperating with authorities.

Their six children include 15-year-old Maddox, 12-year-old Pax, 11-year-old Zahara, 10-year-old Shiloh, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

41-year-old Jolie’s lawyer had stated that the reason for the split was “family’s health”.

Hollywood gossip site TMZ reported that Pitt allegedly became physically and verbally abusive on a flight from France to the USA last week. Us Weekly claims the whole thing was caught on camera, though the sources are conflicting on just how heated Pitt got.

“I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids”, Pitt said in a statement to People after the announcement that Jolie had filed for divorce.

The actress is seeking sole custody of all six of the children, three of whom are adopted. “I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time”.
