The FBI in the USA said it is “continuing to gather facts” about allegations against Brad Pitt regarding his children while aboard a private jet.
Its statement came after The Los Angeles Police Department denied reports that Pitt was being probed for child abuse and said the authorities had received no such allegations against the actor.
Sources dished to TMZ that the 52-year-old actor is now under investigation by the LAPD and the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services after allegedly getting verbally abusive and a bit physical with his kids.
The FBI was informed about a “child welfare” incident involving “unruly behaviour” by Pitt with his child present, while on an worldwide flight last week, the Los Angeles Times quoted an unnamed law enforcement source as saying. “We have no investigation involving Mr. Pitt”.
Children and Family Services has yet to issue a statement regarding the originally reported investigation.
An insider later confirmed to Us that the Department of Children and Family Services had started investigating Pitt, but “after interviewing both [Brad and Angelina], they let them go”.
