Feds cite Fogle’s quest for teens for sex in appeal reply

It looks like disgraced Subway pitchman Jared Fogle’s attempt to appeal his 15-year prison sentence blew up in his face. According to The Wrap, prosecutors filed court papers on Monday contesting Fogle’s attempt to get his sentence reduced.

Former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle was arrested and charged with soliciting sex to children, possessing child pornography, and a litany of other crimes that shocked the public.

The prosecution is contending that the 15.6 year sentence is reasonable in light of the evidence, and they revealed the new details to support their case.

According to prosecutors, Fogle “had a pattern: he found adult escorts through the Internet, developed relationships with them, and offered them finder’s fees to provide him with access to minors for commercial sex”.

“I’m horny again. Is your Asian friend available?” She responds, “Are you going to pay me, too, or can I come back?”

In one, Fogle asks, “Did you find me some young girls or boys?” while in a different exchange he tells one escort, “I’ll pay you big for a 14- or 15-year-old”. “I would hook you up nicely if you did”, when questioned as to why he wants girls that age.

The two continue to toggle over the price until Jared is willing to pay $400 if the child is 16 or younger. He says, “Cause it’s what I crave”.

Fogle replied, “What does she look like?” As part of his plea deal, Fogle agreed not to seek less than five years in prison and prosecutors agreed not to seek more than 12½ years.
