#FeelTheBernout: Bernie Sanders Endorses Hillary Clinton For President

For months, Democrats Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders have locked horns on the campaign trail, argued during debates and expressed concerns over each other’s policies.

“Hillary Clinton will make an outstanding president”, Sanders said.

“Hillary Clinton understands that we must fix an economy in America that is rigged and that sends nearly all new wealth and income to the top one percent”, Sanders said.

With Senator Sanders’ endorsement of Secretary Clinton, local Bernie supporters have to decide if feeling the Bern will keep them from voting for Hillary Clinton come November.

Speaking in front of some of his most passionate supporters – having won the New Hampshire primary in February – Mr. Sanders announced that Ms. Clinton “must become our next president”. That’s what this campaign has been about.

An NBC News/SurveyMonkey poll released the day of the rally showed that Clinton has a narrow lead of three points over presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump in the general election.

“I’m just really proud that 100 years after women got the right to vote, that there’s finally a woman who’s going to be President of the United States”, said Eric Fielding, of Weare.

Throughout the primaries, Sanders helped pull Clinton and the party to the left and take stronger climate action.

Speaking on the Sanders campaign, Mrs. Clinton said, “Senator Sanders has brought people off the sidelines and into the political process”.
