Ferdinand Welcomes ‘Wounded Animal’ Mourinho to United
Mourinho has succeeded Louis van Gaal in the dugout at Old Trafford, bouncing back quickly from being sacked at Chelsea in December this year.

A number of Chelsea youth products failed to make an impact at Stamford Bridge under Mourinho, leading to speculation that the likes of Marcus Rashford and Tim Fosu-Mensah could be loaned out rather than continuing to get game-time under the new boss.
He added: “I’m looking forward to being their manager and enjoying their magnificent support in the coming years”.
Talks started on Tuesday but it took until Friday for the terms of the contract to be ironed out and United to announce the three-year deal, with an option for the 53-year-old to stay at the club until at least 2020.
“There is a mystique and a romance about it which no other club can match”.
“Who knows? We all thought Van Gaal was a good fit two years ago and it didn’t quite happen for him”.
However, Mourinho is also said to be keen on Oxford and United now believe they can sign the England Under-19 global.
“There was empathy, no problems and, in fact, I was pushed by that feeling to say sometimes things that my clubs were not happy with”.
“I have to say I am a fan of Zlatan as well I think he has been tremendous [throughout his career] and certainly in his time at PSG he has been terrific”, Yorke told Sky Sports News HQ.
“He has worked with the best players and with the best teams in the world”.
‘He played 19-year-old Carlos Alberto in the Champions League final at Porto, he gave a chance to Raphael Varane at Real Madrid and picked Davide Santon at Inter when he was a teenager.

No confirmation on the fate of the rest of his predecessor’s backroom team has yet been forthcoming, but Mourinho is expected to bring in his own staff.
