Fernandez confirms Nolito interest
Nolito, who has scored seven league goals this season, departed Barcelona for Benfica in 2011, where he spent two seasons before joining Celta.

Barcelona technical director Robert Fernandez has confirmed the club could sign Celta Vigo star Nolito in the January transfer window. “He is a very good player… but we have other options open”, he said.
And his performances have seen him linked with a return to Barca and Arsenal, who have several injuries to attacking players now.
“Luis Enrique taught me a great deal during the four years I was there. He is a good player, he’s in a sweet moment and in the national team, which is always an important fact”.
Nolito has managed a sensational 7 goals and 4 assists in 11 matches from the midfield area this season and many have hailed the 29-year old as the best player during the current campaign so far.
Barca’s ban will now be lifted in January and the Spanish and European Champions are said to have identified Nolito as the ideal target.
The 29-year-old revealed how the current Barcelona boss has influenced his game and refused to rule out a possible return to the La Liga giants, but indicated that he is now only focused at playing for Celta.

“I’m relaxed about matters and have my feet on the ground”, Nolito was quoted as saying by AS. “At Barca B, he made me realise that I could make a living in this business”, Nolito told Sportium. He insisted I lose weight and looked after myself to safeguard my ability. One can never say that “I’d never try and taste that water” but at present I’m delighted in Vigo. “Things are going very well for me, but we’ll see what happens”.
