Many critics argue the social effects of the “Harry Potter” books are overblown and that readers, in fact, do not graduate to explore other works.
If you haven’t made plans to head to a release party yet, don’t fret; Scholastic has made it incredibly easy to find a celebration.
The two-part play, which stretches over five hours, is set 19 years after the events of the seventh and final book, with Ministry of Magic employee Harry and his wife Ginny waving off their youngest son Albus Severus to school.
Actually it’s a play – divided into two parts – written by Jack Thorne along with John Tiffany, who’s directing the production in London’s West End, with the support, approval and assistance of Rowling herself.
Rowling has long insisted there will be no new Harry Potter novels, so excitement about the new stage story is stratospherically high.
The story follows friends Albus and Scorpius, the respective teenage sons of Potter and his old antagonist Draco Malfoy, as they grapple with their legacies and try to make their own mark.

The official synopsis says: “It was always hard being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband, and father of three school-age children”.
The poll, which comprised over 650 respondents aged between nine and 30, revealed that for its Indian fans, the scar on Harry Potter’s forehead is the most recognisable symbol.
