Feyenoord beat Man United, Mourinho says Red Devils deserved more
Manchester United’s manager Jose Mourinho.

Jose Mourinho and his Manchester United have started their Europa League campaign with a loss against Feyenoord, who emerged victorious, score reading 1-0, on Thursday.
“I think there are clubs that paid 20, 30, 40 (million pounds), which is a bigger deal than what Man United paid for Paul because you make a relation between what you pay and the club revenue”.
“I am not saying (it was) bad, but we did not have the ambition to win the match. I said: ‘Yes, it’s a good start, yes, a very good start, ‘ but I was never on the moon”, he said. “We go back to a normal team, obviously without so many changes”, Mourinho said, bluntly.
“But I think we are experienced players and the players are very good guys and I know they want to win and work, so that’s what we have to do”.
“In the second half they answered my words at half-time but it’s disappointing because it was in our best period that we lost the game”.
“First of all I have players that are not here, I have players that didn’t play here for 90 minutes, so it’s not a problem of accumulation”, he added.
“I am not sure how many points they’ve got, but obviously I have seen their result on the weekend”, the England worldwide told MUTV. “And double unlucky because he was offside”.
José Mourinho delivered a stark warning to his Manchester United players after they lost for the second game in a row under the new manager.
Signed to much fanfare and for a world-record fee, the France midfielder was anonymous for large parts of the encounter in Holland.
Tonny Vilhena scored the all-important and the only goal to stun United. The players did well, that was the most important thing for us.
Mourinho, however, says he has no doubt that Pogba’s form will pick up quickly. In the first half they were in control but were playing half pace.
Despite the post-match rush, Smalling – skipper in the absence of Wayne Rooney – was more concerned with United’s second defeat on the trot, admitting they lacked “intensity” against the Eredivisie leaders.
