It was also Houston’s first no-hitter since June 2003, in which they needed six players (Roy Oswalt, Pete Munro, Kirk Saarloos, Brad Lidge, Octavio Dotel, and Billy Wagner) to achieve the feat against the New York Yankees at the Yankee Stadium. Carlos Gomez is 6-for-20 with a home run against Kershaw, who is 3-2 with a 2.60 ERA in seven career starts against Houston.McCullers will be recalled before the game from Double-A Corpus Christi, where he allowed one unearned run over three innings last Tuesday. Kazmir rebounded from his worst start with the Astros, giving up one run and six hits while striking out eight.
