‘Fiesty’ Allen quickly establishing himself for Arkansas
– Arkansas linebacker Khalia Hackett may not travel for the Razorbacks’ game against Texas A&M on Saturday. Led by a pair of touchdown passes from quarterback Austin Allen and two on the ground by sophomore Rawleigh Williams, Arkansas was able to hit the 40-point plateau for the second straight game and for the seventh time over its last 10 games, which is tied for the most in the nation over that span.

Texas State: The Bobcats put together an impressive performance in their season-opening triple-overtime win over OH, but they were outmatched against Arkansas. His latest show of emotion came during last week’s 42-3 win over Texas State. “Khalia is a very talented player who has done a lot of things off the field that I’ve asked him, but on the field we needed to have better production.so that’s why we went with a younger player”.
Whatever emotional fuel Allen has used to start the season has worked and he is no longer a relative unknown across the Southeastern Conference.
With a taste of early season success for a change, Arkansas coach Bret Bielema wasn’t about to let the No. 24 Razorbacks get complacent after a double-overtime win over TCU last week.
Not bad for the kid who largely sat on the Arkansas bench over the last three seasons behind his older brother, Brandon.
The Razorbacks will now turn their attention to Saturday’s showdown with No. 13 Texas A&M (3-0, 1-0 SEC) at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. “We’re ready for it”.

“They were big and physical, just like we thought they would be”, first-year Texas State coach Everett Withers said. “I know the speed of the game is going to pick up a little bit, but I’ll just do what I’ve always done and prepare and really leave no stone unturned in the preparation”.
