Fifa ethics court asks for 4-year ban for Worawi Makudi
The chairman of the investigatory chamber of the independent ethics committee, Swiss lawyer Cornel Borbely, has also recommended Mr Worawi be fined 25,000 Swiss francs (890,000 baht), Geneva-based Federation Internationale de Football Association said in a news release on Friday.

The executive is accused of violating general rules of conduct relating to loyalty, forgery and falsification and the obligation of the parties to collaborate.
The investigation focused mainly on alterations that Mr Worawi made to the FAT statutes without informing the members of the FAT Congress or seeking their approval.
The questioning is only part of a preliminary investigation, but if a formal investigation takes place, he may be suspended from his post for 90 days. Former national police chief Somyot Poompunmuang was elected to the position on Feb 15.
Makudi was a member of FIFA’s tainted executive committee for 18 years until being voted off by Asian federations in April 2015.
The football body has also been forced to investigate controversies surrounding the awarding of its showpiece, the World Cup finals, especially the decision to grant the 2018 tournament to Russian Federation and the 2022 finals to Qatar.
The announcement from the Investigatory Chamber marks the latest charge on Makudi’s growing rap sheet after he was sentenced to a suspended jail term of 16 months and fined THB4,000 (£86/$115/€103) for falsifying documents in July of a year ago.
Infantino is said to be “very confident” that no further action will be taken, with sources close to the former UEFA secretary general reportedly describing the allegations as “absurd” and “baseless”.

Makudi then unsuccessfully tried to sue Triesman for libel, claiming that the allegations were not true.
