Within the first hour, the trailer received more than 2.5 million views on the “Fifty Shades” domestic Facebook page alone.

Did Christian Grey just defeat Han Solo?

When a wounded Christian Grey tries to entice a cautious Ana Steele back into his life, she demands a new arrangement before she will give him another chance. Whether or not that’s a good idea is up for debate, but fans turned out in droves for “Fifty Shades of Grey”, and based on the online reaction to “Darker” so far, it looks like the sequel won’t have any trouble drawing moviegoers to theaters, either. A third film, Fifty Shades Freed, is coming in 2018.

The new movie is based on the bestselling 2012 novel by British author E.L. James.
