Upon hearing gunfire, an off-duty police officer working as a security guard there said he was basically forced to shoot the suspect because he leveled a gun at him.

“The first thing I did was run to the storage unit, the second thing I did was hide in the storage unit, the third thing, If I had to I would have fought”, she said. “That is part of the investigation”, he said. He said he backed up against a wall and watched as people fled the scene.
