‘Final Fantasy 15’ release date

Some players are anxious that an open world means senseless quests and more bells and whistles that do little, beyond looking good.

Tabata also talked about how one of his goals with the two months’ extra development time is to “refine the game balance”, though no further details were provided.

“By doing this, the entire game is tightened so that the open world doesn’t get tiring, and so that you can also get a taste of traditional Final Fantasy progression”, Tabata explained. Rappler reveals that, along with the release of that trailer, Tabata shared the news that Final Fantasy XV would be a hybrid of open world playing and more linear game play.

It appears that “Final Fantasy XV” is not going to be a purely open-world game after all.

Even though “Final Fantasy XV” faced another delay in terms of release date, “FFXV” director Hajime Tabata promised fans that the upcoming game is worth the long wait. The real question is what the dividing line is: are we stuck with linear gameplay once we reach a certain point in the story?

“If we decide to make downloadable content outside of the Season Pass we’re now selling, then that will be the case. If we assume you’ll play only the main routes of the first and second halves, it’ll take about 40 to 50 hours”.

There are already three Final Fantasy-related mobile games available on smartphones now: Brave Exvius, Mobius Final Fantasy, and Record Keeper. Essentially, Tabata is trying to please everyone.

In the interview, Tabata discussed how the six downloadable add-ons included in the Season Pass wasn’t the only post-release content the team had planned. However, that won’t be all the content that the developer has planned for its action RPG.
