In addition, the anticipated Final Fantasy VII will not be made in Square Enix’s custom-built engine and will most likely run Luminous Engine, the same engine responsible for other upcoming game Final Fantasy XV and some parts of Kingdom Hearts III before it was transferred to Unreal Engine 4.
The original Final Fantasy Type-0 launched on PSP in October 2011 in Japan.

While not 100% confirmed, Square Enix is considering bringing this game to the West as well. Last week we reported on Final Fantasy Agito being officially cancelled, with another game set to take its place instead as a sort of “reborn” version. By her side stands the mysterious, black-haired Gentiana. Lastly, one of the best things the Final Fantasy VII is definitely its storyline.
