Square Enix hasn’t announced anything yet, but rumours began to emerge over the weekend that the release date had switched from September 30 to November 29.

Final Fantasy XV has been pushed back to November 29, according to insider’s at Gamestop.

Citing “a source within GameStop management” as a source, Gamnesia ran a report of the delay on Friday that was met with skepticism around the internet. As part of the communication, instructions have been sent detailing how current promotional materials will soon need to be amended to reflect the change. Picking up on that, Kotaku corroborated with a separate source from Gamestop and a third, non-retailer related source to further stoke the fires.

Final Fantasy XV download size has been revealed through a retailer promotion that is selling a download code of the game for PS4. Although the game looked awesome at E3, there are reports that the game was not at its fullest potential from a technical point of view. It means that we’re now just waiting for an official announcement from developer Square Enix sometime today. The FF15 Platinum Demo was pretty bad too and I really wish the final game would be more like Episode Duscae. Back in May the publication reported on No Man’s Sky being delayed in similar fashion, which a few days later ended up being true. Just try keep that in mind as you hold back the tears.
