Donald Trump on Sunday took a shot at fellow 2016 GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina, saying you “develop a massive headache” if you listen to the former Hewlett-Packard CEO.

There were reports this week that Bill Clinton had a private telephone conversation in late spring with Trump in which the former president encouraged the businessman’s efforts to play a larger role in the Republican Party.

The former Pennsylvania lawmaker’s came alongside a personal anecdote about his own father, who had to wait in Italy while his father worked in the U.S. before being allowed to enter the country. Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, and Sen. Rick Santorum were in search of a breakthrough moment that would help them rise in the polls and give themselves some much-needed momentum.

“Nobody on either one of these stages has done more than I have done, and the people of the state of Texas, to deal with securing that border”, Perry said.

“This presidency has become the imperial petulancy”, Perry said.

Jindal was asked a similar question with Martha MacCallum noting in head to head polling against Hillary Clinton in his home state he comes in short.

After Donald Trump went into defense mode following the first Republican debate, it was only a matter of time before he felt backlash.

“I think it crossed a line of decency no one running for president should ever cross whether you are a professional or amateur politician”, Erickson said. “I didn’t. Maybe it’s because I hadn’t given money to the foundation or donated to his wife’s Senate campaign”.

I think he’s tapped into an anger that people feel.

Mr Trump joked that he only said that about TV personality Rosie O’Donnell before adding: “I don’t have time for total political correctness”. “That’s just a fact, and that’s what Donald Trump taps into”. Hillary Clinton jumped all over it for a reason – because she saw an opportunity. “And in order to win, we have to have a nominee that throws every punch – who will not pull her punches”. But, as the debate started, it didn’t take long for Fiorina to make an impression. According to Zignal Labs, the Post’s campaign analytics partner, Fiorina accounted for 39 percent of all mentions.

Fiorina – the only woman seeking the GOP’s nomination for president – previously discussed Trump’s comments about women Friday morning on CNN’s “New Day”. Gilmore spoke the least by far – 5 1/2 minutes.
