BJP state President Keshav Prasad Maurya sacked him from the party, hours after he announced that Singh had been relieved from all organisational responsibilities. BSP leaders are charged under the same sections that Singh was charged under by BSP on Thursday. “Now it’s her turn to show that she also cares for the honour of a minor girl”, the BJP leader told IANS. “BSP leadership should advise its leaders not to indulge in such activities”, the Information and Broadcasting Minister added.

Singh’s mother Tetra Devi has already filed an FIR at Hazratganj police station against the “abusive” utterances against women members of the family.
ADG (Law and Order) Daljit Singh Chawdhary said Special Task Force (STF) has been directed to assist the Lucknow police in arresting Singh. “She is even worse than.”, said Singh, who was in Mau for the first time after becoming party vice president to meet party workers this morning.
Dayashankar Singh, the former vice-president of UP BJP, had used derogatory words against Mayawati on Wednesday while accusing her of selling off party tickets in lieu of heft amount of money. However, police is still in search of Dayashankar Singh, who is evading arrest. This allegation is likely to remain part of the political tirade against the BSP in the coming days.

Questioning her commitment to the dalit cause, Sharma said she did not visit the home of any Dalit woman who were sexually assaulted under the Samajwadi Party government. Gorakhpur is the stronghold of BJP MP Mahant Adityanath. “There is something wrong with Dayashankar Singh’s DNA, I think he is an illegitimate child, that is why he made such a remark”, she said. “People from weaker sections of society cutting across party lines respect me a lot, they treat me as goddess”.
