Fire Emblem Fates has two versions, one release date
There are multiple adventures waiting to be experienced in Fire Emblem Fates for Nintendo 3DS. The first two titles, available at launch, will tell one story from different perspectives. The two primary paths are available as separate games for purchase, and the 3rd is DLC.

Birthright and Conquest will launch for 3DS in North America on February 19 at $39.99 each, Nintendo announced.
Like the Japanese version, the game will come in three different versions, each following different stories around the same characters. Anyone who buys either Conquest or Birthright will be eligible to purchase the other title for a discounted $19.99 after completing the version they originally bought.
And to top it off, there will also be a third downloadable version in the near future titled, Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation – offering new challenges, experiences and “juicy secrets about the story” according to Trinen. The collector’s edition will include all three games, Birthright, Conquest, and Revelation, an art book, and a Nintendo 3DS XL pouch which features art from the game. Nintendo has also promised DLC for the games-one new playable map for free, plus six more maps available later on to be purchased individually, or as a bundle for a reduced price if you pre-order it.
