Fire in 32nd floor of a high-rise building in Mumbai’s Kandivli

Mumbai: A major fire broke out in a high-rise residential building in north Mumbai on Thursday. Fire fighting operation took about one and a-half hour to bring fire under control.

The fire engulfed the top floor of the Hiranandani Heritage building (Estonia) around 1 pm on Thursday. The cause of fire is still unknown.

Fire broke out in Hiranandai tower in Mumbai. Two ambulances have also been rushed to the site but it was not known if there were any injuries. Firefighting operations involving 20 vehicles, including fire engines and water tankers, are under way.

The fire was initially reported to be of stage 2 severity and was later upgraded to level 3. Earlier, ANI reported that the level II fire on the 22nd floor of Hiranandani Tower.
