Fire Investigator Keith Warner determined that the fire was a direct result of used fireworks being put next to a combustible wall of the home.
Fireworks caused at least three fires in St. Paul over the weekend.
Rescue crews are responding to a fireworks mishap in at the Fourth of July celebration at the Plymouth waterfront.
The emergency call came in just after 6 p.m. on the 2500 block of South Carson Way. Lt. George Hernandez said 79 of those were reported Monday night.
The fire was mostly contained to the garage, but caused about $500,000 in damage.
