According to the report, the 1.5m Brown Tree snake was found dead at its home in Earville.
Matt Hagan, from Cairns Snake Catchers, was called in the home to check the reason of death as it was believed that the snake had died because of its own venom.
In talk with media, Matt said “I could immediately see something wasn’t quite right with the snake. When I picked it up I noticed it was still biting down firmly on its neck”.
