We know that Shahid and Mira became proud parents of a baby girl on August 26th.

Shahid Kapoor was seen holding the baby close to his chest, very protectively, wrapped top-to-bottom in a white sheet with pink flowers as he carried her out even as it was raining while new-mom Mira was walking briskly ahead. “He sleeps little and watches their baby girl all the time”, says a friend of the actor.
Neelima Azim shared her joy as, “I have two sons (Shahid and Ishaan) with a difference of 13 years between them”.
Rakesh also wished the newly-made parents.
As soon as news about Shahid becoming a father spread, several B-Town celebs including Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, Ayushmann Khurrana, Aditi Rao Hydari among others took to social media to congratulate the couple. Both were recently clicked with their newborn on their way back home from the hospital.
Shahid’s mother Neelima Azeem had said earlier that he made for a great dad and these pictures are a proof. Neelima and her son Ishaan Kapoor rushed to the hospital upon hearing the news and the family is now busy choosing a name for the little child.
Neelima also revealed that the new parents have already decided upon the baby’s name but she can not disclose it.

She says “She is very lovely, but can not say who she resembles, as she is just 1 day old baby, ab uska rang har din chadega!”. She wants Shahid and Mira to have that privilege. “I miss her already”.
