First GOP Presidential Debate

Real estate tycoon Donald Trump participates in the first Republican presidential primary debate on August 6, 2015 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Despite the viewer success though, Trump is complaining that the debate, moderated by Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, Bret Baier and Chris Wallace, was unfair.

“Only Rosie O’Donnell”, Trump retorted.

Trump ducked a question about what evidence he has to back up his charges that the Mexican government is sending “criminals” across the border.

A Fox News focus group conducted by pollster Frank Luntz right after the debate was down on “The Donald”, with many participants on the panel saying their opinion of the billionaire businessman turned negative after a performance they found to be disturbing.

Trump gave a classic crowd-pleasing Trump answer, praising himself for not “being politically correct… what I say is what I say”.

Some users asked the 10 GOP candidates on stage what they would do to stop terrorism from ISIS, while another asked if any of the candidates received a “word from God on what they should do and take care of first”. “There wasn’t a lot of time for any candidate to say that much and so it really came down to did anyone break their campaign and I don’t think anyone did”.

Trump also personally weighed in on Kelly. And I just want to see if somebody gets in that I like and if I’m treated with respect, I would not run as an Independent.

“Honestly Megyn, if you don’t like it, I’m sorry”.

Playing up his unique experience as a neurosurgeon, Carson insisted he was the only one on stage “to take out half of a brain – although you would think, if you go to Washington, that someone had beat me to it”.
