First ‘Jumanji’ Photo Sends the Rock and Kevin Hart to the Jungle
The picture was snapped on the first day of filming in Hawaii, which Hart said went well. Trust me.” Not pictured: “co-star Nick Jonas. The chemistry & energy of our cast & crew was beyond awesome! “Hard workin” and FUN first day of shooting in the jungle with this talented and insane motley crew.

“Dope as hell” was Hart’s summary of the first day, the movie being helmed by Jake Kasdan, son of “Empire Strikes Back” and “Raiders of the Lost Ark” writing legend Lawrence Kasdan.
The shot doesn’t reveal that much – apart from Gillan’s stomach, thanks to a slightly questionable choice of outfit for jungle exploration – though fans can at least get a vague sense of the types of characters inhabiting this new adventure, with the quartet looking like some kind of expedition group.
With the help of Kevin Hart, we are finally able to visualize what the cast of the upcoming remake of “Jumanji” is going to look like, and it’s pretty epic. Both Hart and Johnson have talked about their excitement for this project, and based their chemistry in Central Intelligence, this film should hit all the right marks. The 1995 original film was directed by Joe Johnston and starred the late Robin Williams, Bonnie Hunt, Kirsten Dunst, Bradley Pierce, Jonathan Hyde, Bebe Neuwirth, David Alan Grier and Patricia Clarkson.

The movie ended with the Jumanji board game still existing, setting up a potential sequel. As you can see, it features the main cast in their costumes.
