Bobby is part of a lawsuit against Bobbi Brown’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon.

“The same thing that happened to my daughter is what happened to Whitney”, Brown tells Roberts.

Now, in a candid chat with USA reporter Robin Roberts, Bobby has opened up about his double heartbreak, revealing he felt helpless as his little girl lay in a medically-induced coma for months until her death.

“The same thing that happened to my daughter, it happened to Whitney”, he says during his interview with Robin Roberts on 20/20, which airs at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, on ABC.

“While we weren’t discounting the possibility that Nick had something to do with Krissi’s incident in the bathtub, we also wondered whether the vehicle accident she had been involved in just four days before was found in the bathtub might have had something to do with her brain injuries”, he wrote, according to Radar Online Wednesday.

According to the autopsy report, the 22-year-old succumbed to immersion and water and mixed drug intoxication.

Bobby Brown opens up about the deaths of his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown and his ex-wife, Whitney Houston.

The pair later claimed they had been married in early 2014, but Brown shot down those statements, saying the two had yet to Wednesday. The New Edition singer later added, “I came into the marriage with money, and I left the marriage with nothing”.

The bundle of joy is set to arrive right around the same time Brown’s memoir, Every Little Step, hits bookshelves this month.

Brown’s new family seems to be the biggest help to him during these hard times, as he tells Roberts in his interview: ‘I thank God I’m still here’.
