First Look at Gabriel Luna’s Ghost Rider in Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 will return to ABC on September 20 at 10 p.m. EDT. The vengeful character has already given a film but here the character will be different adaptation. How his appearance will differ when he transforms remains to be seen, but Marvel has also released a found footage video showing his vehicle speeding off, a sight we’ll get used to when Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns!

SpoilerTV is reporting that the first episode of Season 4 is called “The Ghost”, which (very very very) likely means we’ll be seeing Reyes on screen pretty quickly. Check out original designs of Robbie Reyes as the Ghost Rider, you can see they’ve kept the swanky jacket, at least. Expect more to be revealed about Ghost Rider soon.

Executive producer Jed Whedon told EW that they’re putting their own spin on the character, while keeping some of their favourite elements, like his East L.A. roots and family ties.

Otherwise, Ghost Rider will be adapted to the show’s story arcs, and as the most recent season revealed, Agents of SHIELD has been taken in new and odd directions. In the editorial of melty, we are in any case very excited to see all that.

Ghost rider shouldn’t feel out of place in a time and place where aliens or inhumans continue to explore their own powers which are incredible.

In addition to the image, the show’s official Twitter feed released a short “found footage” style video that reveals that Ghost Rider will be driving the cool black auto associated with Reyes, as opposed to Blaze’s motorcycle. “When I finally found out what it was, I did my research, and I looked into it, and that’s when I discovered that there was this new incarnation of Ghost Rider”. Apparently, they made the choice to go with the newest version fo the character, Robbie Reyes. Traditionally, Ghost Riders have been bound to the spirits of vengeance demons such as Zarathos. And I loves me some supernatural angles.
