Dexter’s Scott Buck is on board to serve as showrunner on the drama, which marks the fourth of Marvel’s five-series deal with Netflix.
Currently, Netflix is streaming Marvel’s Daredevil and Marvel’s Jessica Jones, and will also run Luke Cage in September and Defenders in 2017.
The centerpiece of Marvel TV’s Comic-Con panel this year was Luke Cage, but they found a few minutes to squeeze in a couple of their other upcoming shows.
Check out the footage, below. Well, if we take it all at face value, and also assume that all of the events are in chronological order, then it seems like what we’re mostly seeing is snippets of the journey that hero Danny Rand started on when he was just a young boy.
Marvel’s Iron Fist has been filming this summer, and although a set date hasn’t been announced for its arrival on screens, it’s expected in the early months of 2017.

The teaser trailer doesn’t really reveal much, but it looks like it will follow the comic book origin of Iron Fist, with Danny being stranded in the mystical land of Kun Lun as a boy and training to become the Iron Fist there.
