First of Kanye West’s weekend pop-up stores open doors
With Kanye West gear being notoriously hard to get, the rap star and fashion mogul made a decision to open up 21 temporary stores across the globe this weekend – announcing on Twitter Wednesday that they would be located in various cities, including New York, Toronto, Boston, San Francisco and Sydney, among others.

West did not indicate if he would be making an appearance at any of the pop-up shops.
Thirteen of the 21 stores will be in major cities in the US, and other shops are in Amsterdam, Berlin, Cape Town, London, Melbourne, Singapore and Sydney. Drake has also been opening pop-up shops in select cities while on his current tour. Beyond $45 tees and $95 hoodies, the collection included $400 thrift-store-sourced jackets emblazoned with Pablo graphics. Superfans, many of them very young, waited in a line that wrapped around several blocks.
West, 39, announced the move on Twitter on Wednesday with a map of the stores that will be located in cities in the United States, Australia, England, Germany, South Africa and Singapore.
The pop-up store will run from Friday to Sunday, starting at 10am in the morning until 10pm in the evening. “It’s unique to every city”. Fans can listen to Kanye’s platinum Def Jam album The Life Of Pablo on the newest SONOS speakers and components.
Fans of Pablo started standing in line from as early as 2am on Friday, according to The Straits Times. T-shirts are $55, long sleeves are $75, sweatshirts will cost you a bit more than a $100, and jackets are over $200.

Plenty of fans and media watchers were quick to gently chastise West for setting up shop in the North ‘burbs.
