While there had been speculation that the recent changes to Zellweger’s appearance might distract movie-goers, the photo makes it clear that Bridget Jones (and Zellweger) is back to her old self.
With her chin in the air, 46-year-old actress Renée Zellweger looked proud to share her fuller figure when the crew gathered at a supermarket in London’s Woolwich to continue filming.
Last week we got our first image of Bridget Jones’ Baby and now the cast has been snapped out and about as they shoot scenes for the long-awaited sequel.
The actress had her blonde hair messily tied up, showing off her slimmer face and indicating that Bridget no longer needs to worry about having a bottom the “size of Brazil”. Colin Firth is said to comeback as Bridget’s dashing husband Mark but Hugh Grant, who played Daniel Cleaver, Bridget’s ex-boyfriend and notorious playboy, will be giving the movie a pass. & this time there is a baby on board.
Author Helen Fielding released her third Bridget Jones novel, Mad About The Boy, in October 2013, although it is not known if the new film will follow the same plot.
The trio were surrounded by children in a nod to the more mature side of Bridget that we’re expected to see when she returns.
