Bethesda has publicised it on Twitter too, even contributing a hashtag #DateADweller to encourage lots of lovely user-generated content including tweets and screenshots showing the characters they’d date in the game. The game is already one of the most hotly anticipated titles of the year and Bethesda has done everything right in promoting it so far, including using Fallout Shelter as a buffer to keep the hype train running. In a new promotion for their hit mobile game Fallout Shelter, Bethesda sent their shiny-eyed mascot out onto the social platform in search of his perfect match. While looking over people that enter your vault for shelter and safety, players will have to make sure that these people get enough electricity, food and water for survival by building rooms dedicated specifically for these tasks. He also enjoys collecting bottlecaps, lunchboxes and outfits. The major reason behind Fallout Shelter’s success was stated to be due to its in-game purchase offerings, where players would simply go on and buy a lunchbox that included several surprises such as a new Vault Boy, Food, Weapons and XP gains.
