First teaser debuts for Star Trek: Discovery
SAN DIEGO | U.S. television network CBS celebrated the 50th anniversary of “Star Trek” at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, revealing that the keenly awaited new series is to be called “Star Trek Discovery”.

As for the teaser clip, we’ve already gleaned some new information from its introduction of the new spaceship.
The series is set to work a more “novel” like seasonal approach as opposed to the more traditional episodic style of most of the past seasons of the original timeline.

McQuarrie worked on a project called Star Trek: Planet of the Titans, which was meant to be the first Star Trek movie before being mothballed in 1977. “And it’s also an honor to have them be the launching pad for for a new series that has something we all relate to in Star Trek mythology, which is discovery”. “I don’t think we’re supposed to say yet because there are so many new things about this series”, Fuller said. “There’s nothing like the guiding light that Gene Roddenberry hung high in the sky”.

“We’re telling stories in a a brand new way”, he said. Still, when asked if Kirk’s death could be undone, would he want to continue telling stories about his Star Trek alter-ego, Shatner replied with a resounding, “Hell yes!”
