The movie will boldly go where a ton of movies have gone before when it premieres next year on July 22, 2016. Fans can check out the trailer on the large screen ahead of much-anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which opens this weekend. I’m honestly asking. The use of the Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage” feels like Star Trek Beyond took a page out of the Guardians of the Galaxy playbook.
And that’s really the crux of this initial trailer: to tell audiences that with Star Trek Beyond they’ll be getting something big, brash, and fun. Will that result in a good Star Trek movie?

The third instalment of the revamped Star trek film franchise, which started filming scenes in Dubai in October, had a budget of $32 million to cover the cost of its work in the emirate.
