First Trailer For The Forest Starring Game Of Thrones’ Natalie Dormer
MTV reported that Gramercy Pictures has released the trailer for the supernatural horror thriller “The Forest“.

Per the synopsis, “The Forest tells the story of a young American woman who goes in search of her twin sister, who has mysteriously disappeared”. In reality, however, the forest is famous for its hiking difficulty and frequent suicides. The Aokigahara forest lies beneath Mount Fuji, and is known to be a suicide spot; thus, making the spooky locale the flawless setting for a horror film. The other is Gus Van Sant’s Sea of Trees, starring Matthew McConaughey and Ken Watanabe who meet in the woods after going there with the intention of killing themselves.
Collider reported that the cast members include Taylor Kinney, Eoin Macken and Yukiyoshi Ozawa.
The Forest is set to be released early next January, which is not a great slot for any movie, but it certainly sounds compelling enough to at least remain optimistic about.
Jason Zada (The Houses Of Halloween) directed this one, and the ubiquitous David S. Goyer contributed to the script and is among the producers.
Interestingly, The Forest isn’t the only Aokigahara movie due out in the near future.

As you can guess, she has to navigate the forest, dodging a bunch of weird, possibly-dead folks, presumably while fighting off the urge to kill herself.
