The 2016 San Diego Comic Con debuted a number of trailers for some upcoming highly anticipated movies including Justice League and Wonder Woman. Check out Gal Gadot kicking butt in our Wonder Woman trailer screenshots in the gallery below!

The 31-year-old actress revealed that she had watched a documentary on the late Princess Diana before filming began and was inspired by the mother of Princes William and Harry, reports The Sun.

Chris Pine also stars as Steve Trevor.

Many fans certainly can’t wait for this movie to hit the big screen but they will have to wait a considerable amount of time before it’s ready for release.

The film is scheduled for release on June 2, 2017, and will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros.

Coming across American pilot Steve Trevor after he crashes on the island of Themyscira, he tells her about the global conflict and she leaves her home to try to stop it.

“I feel like Diana is really accessible”.

Instead, the trailer gives hints to how Diana embraces her role as the most powerful woman and most feared warrior in the universe as she cuts her way through the Nazi forces. “I always thought that if I could send out a message, I want to show the strong side of a woman and how she can handle tough situations”.

In the nearly three-minute trailer, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman takes center stage in the superhero epic starring Chris Pine, Robin Wright and Connie Nielsen. The effects are wonderful, and the slow-motion shot of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman leaping into action is just flawless. Wonder Woman counters the angst and bleakness that reign supreme in Superman and Batman’s world with a certain solidity and sense of conviction, not to mention some kickass action. We get plenty of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman fighting soldiers, riding on horseback, and exploring our world during World War I.
