First ‘Wonder Woman’ trailer revealed at SDCC 2016
Following their panel at Comic-Con today, DC Films and Warner Brothers have officially released their first trailer for Wonder Woman.

The trailer, which lands itself somewhere between Game of Thrones and Paths of Glory, opens with star Gal Gadot coming across Wonder Woman’s, a.k.a. Diana Prince, future love interest, Steve Trevor, on a beach. She’s a former Miss Israel and IDF soldier who frequently uses her social media to bash Hamas.
Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman cast includes besides Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Connie Nielson, Lucy Davis and Elena Anaya. “And then she has the powers of a goddess”. But just as Bruce Wayne/Batman was learning about this new face in a world that was suddenly opening itself up to superheroes, Wonder Woman’s introduction didn’t give us a whole lot of information.
The trailer of Wonder Woman was screened at Comic Con on Saturday, July 23. “I was brought to life by Zeus”, answers the Amazonian princess, with Trevor responding, “Well, that’s neat”. “I always thought that if I could send out a message, I want to show the strong side of a woman and how she can handle tough situations”. Patty Jenkins ( Monster with Charlize Theron) will direct the film. But the trailer takes care not let it overshadow the central story of Wonder Woman’s journey. “She’s all for good, she fights for good, she believes in great”. Note the sword nestled in the back of her dress. “I go where he tells me to go and I do what he tells me to do”, the woman responds.

The blockbuster will also set the table for the DC Cinematic Universe’s other 2017 film, the massive ensemble piece Justice League, which will unite Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aqua Man, the Flash and Cyborg.
