After three hours of negotiations, the suspect exited the house and shot himself in front of Mason County, WA sheriff’s deputies, according to the Seattle Times.

The Mason County Sheriff says the incident occurred in a rural area and that police received a call about a shooting at a home in the town of Belfair. When he returned home, he was on a lot of medications, Pigott said of the man.

The sheriff’s office also posted pictures showing law enforcement officers with guns drawn taking cover behind their vehicles, and a row of patrol cars parked along a gravel road in a heavily wooded area, but it provided no further details.

Mason County deputies responded to a report that a man shot four people at a home outside Belfair.

Chief Deputy Ryan Spurling says officers have 11 buildings to clear on the property and he could not confirm whether anyone had been shot or killed.
