Several homes in the Corral de Tierra community are being evacuated after two major wildfires sparked near Highway 68 and Carmel Valley, CAL Fire officials said.

Officials did not provide further details about the victim.
People who live in the area between the intersection of Tassajara Road and Carmel Valley Road to Tassajara and Cachagua Road intersection are under mandatory evacuations, Monterey County officials said.
The Valley fire north of San Francisco had burned 75,000 acres and was 48% contained, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
Cal Fire adds 10 homes have been damaged or destroyed.
California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection spokesman Mike Mohler says the increased count comes as firefighters make progress and damage inspection teams have access to affected areas. The blaze had charred 116 square miles and was 48 percent contained Saturday.
Priolo said a five-engine strike team responded to protect homes, another for the threat to land and helicopters for air support.
Amid the destruction and continued fight against the blazes by thousands of firefighters, people have been stepping up to help in an outpouring of compassion for victims.
Residents of Middletown, the area hardest hit by the massive wildfire in Lake County, were allowed to return home Saturday afternoon. And fires burning in Calaveras County, in the Sierra foothills, have taken out more than 250 homes and still threaten 6,400 homes today.

The Lake County fire tore through 62 square miles in 12 hours, burning almost 600 homes and causing thousands of residents to flee after it ignited a week ago.
