Five points to watch in Tuesday’s NY primary
For the last few weeks, Ted Cruz has been on a roll. I can put [the delegates] in the best planes and bring them to the best resorts anywhere in the world. I do not endorse Donald Trump. Note that the machine is interactive – you can choose the candidate, pick a state or region, and press “Go!” In Wyoming and Colorado, he said, “the people never got a chance to vote”. This was not Trump’s first major mistake of the night.

This solicitude for the feelings of Trump and his supporters is impressive for the guy who in the vocabulary of the mogul’s campaign is routinely referred to as “Lyin’ Ted”. And if the Republican presidential race goes to a contested convention, a small group of New York Republicans may have an outsized role in helping sway the outcome. These delegates are now finding themselves with exactly that responsibility. But there are no specific rules limiting these expenses. He has said he wouldn’t accept the presidential nomination, but others have held out hope that he or another fresh candidate could emerge as the candidate.
Yue wants the convention to use Roberts Rules of Order, which would let delegates block the convention’s presiding officer from allowing the nomination of fresh candidates for president. Specifically, a slew of unfavorable states are around the corner, and decisive losses could cause Cruz to lose Rubio voters to Kasich and face more resistance in the delegate selection process.
Giving money or gifts in exchange for votes could also violate state bribery laws, which vary across the country.
Clinton won election twice from NY to the Senate. Missouri COP Chairman John Hancock, National Committeewoman to the Republican National Committee (RNC) representing Missouri Susie Eckelkamp, and Missouri’s delegate to the RNC’s Rules Committee Lance Beshore are those three delegates. If Trump actually gets the nomination will they support his campaign?
“The part about spending his own personal money to wine and dine the delegate, that may very well be legal under the federal election laws”, Noble told ABC News. In West Virginia, however, the delegates will be listed on the ballot along with the presidential candidate they support.
In the majority of cases, delegates will have to vote for Trump during the first ballot of the convention but are able to switch to his rival Cruz if there are subsequent ballots that become necessary. If Trump can maintain a that across each of New York’s congressional districts, he will win all 95 delegates at stake in the Empire State.
“I end up winning Louisiana and then when everything is done I find out I get less delegates than this guy that got his a- kicked, OK?”
Tuchman seemed to try and play to the anger of Trump supporters saying “Trump supporters might not like it, but it’s totally within the rules …” “We’ve won five states in a row in landslides over and over and over again”.
To understand why the Texas senator is doing so well now, we have to rewind about a month and a half to March 1 – Super Tuesday. Otherwise, he has to share them with other candidates. Previously, candidates submitted hand-picked slates of delegates to the party.

That means even if Trump wins Pennsylvania, he’s only guaranteed to claim 17 of the state’s 71 delegates.
